Hub Stacey's at the Point is a repeat stop for us when we're in the Perdido area. They offer a variety of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches all served up in a laid-back atmosphere. They have a full bar, happy hour, live music, and an extra-large outdoor seating area overlooking the inland waterway. We like to stop here for a late lunch and then walk to Innerarity Point Park to let the kids play or to simply relax and take in the views.
There's also a location in Downtown Pensacola.

A New Orleans original right here in Northwest Florida. Juan's Flying Burrito is a lively Creole Taqueria located in Downtown Pensacola. Their menu combines the freshest in local seafood and produce with classic taqueria staples like tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Whether you’re in the mood to share nachos and dips, feast on a mission-style burrito, or grab a few gulf shrimp tacos, Juan's is your spot. Grab a seat on their patio on a sunny day. You won't be disappointed.

Located in the heart of Downtown Pensacola in Seville Square, Lucy's is a must visit. From savory flatbreads and shareables to seasonal sangria and local brews, Lucy's inviting patio is waiting for you to sit for a spell. Their walk-up window bar is a great option for grabbing a quick beverage during one of the many festivals taking place nearby and their patio is pet friendly so bring your fur babies along for the outing.

Breakfast and brunch are served all day at this popular local spot. Newly expanded, colorful and welcoming, Native Cafe has a menu full of your favorite breakfast items like pancakes and stuffed French toast, as well as lunch items like Florida Fish Tacos and the Native Quesadillas. We recently enjoyed the Pancake-wich. Come with an empty stomach and a big appetite because the pancakes are as big as the plate.

Papa's Pizza is one of our favorite spots to eat when downtown. This is a frequent stop for us and I will recommend them repeatedly to anyone that asks. Located on Garden Street, they serve up the best New York style pizza in the panhandle. Their pizzas, salads, calzones, and pasta dishes are sure to please even the pickiest eaters. You can also visit their original Pensacola location at the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk.

Red Fish Blue Fish is located near the boardwalk/Casino Beach areas of Pensacola Beach. The restaurant overlooks the Santa Rosa Sound and offers incredible views and plenty of southern hospitality. The food is prepared using fresh local ingredients, they have a welcoming atmosphere and regularly offer live music and entertainment. I recommend the shrimp & grits as well as any of the local beers that they have on tap from Perfect Plain or Pensacola Bay Brewery.

Tipsy Scoop recently opened in Downtown Pensacola. This ice cream "barlour" serves up liquor infused ice cream and treats in a fun and colorful atmosphere. Stop by and try a flight of flavors or one of their Signature Sundaes. Their boozy ice cream treats may be 21+, but their Cool Kids sundaes can be enjoyed by all.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The Holiday Inn Resort on Pensacola Beach is located within walking distance of several area attractions and restaurants, so we walked everywhere. Situated right on the Gulf, this resort offers a variety of room layouts with views of either the Gulf or Santa Rosa Sound. Their zero-entry pool and lazy river make it the perfect destination for a laid-back vacation and the tiki bar and onsite dining options were great added amenities.

Pristine beaches and emerald waters steal the show in Northwest Florida but there’s so much more to see and experience around here. The area’s rich history and natural beauty make it more than easy to fill your days with food, fun, and adventure. Big Lagoon State Park is one of our most favorite spots to frequent.
This park offers five miles of hiking and nature trails in three distinct areas. Choose one trail or roam the extensive coastal forest and connect them all to make one big loop. The three-story observation tower located within the park provides spectacular views of Big Lagoon and Perdido Key. Multiple day use areas give access to the intracoastal waterway making this a prime spot for swimming fishing, boating, and paddling.
Make a full day adventure out of your visit by sticking around the area for lunch or dinner. Hub Stacey’s at The Point is nearby and offers a relaxed dining atmosphere for the whole family with a water view. There's a fantastic park located next door with play areas for multiple age groups as well as a boardwalk and fishing pier right on the intracoastal waterway. Or cross the Perdido Key Bridge and head toward Orange Beach to visit the famous Flora-Bama. The Flora-Bama Ole River Grill is a fun and family friendly open-air dining experience. Enjoy a variety of food and drink options while you watch the boats pass by.

Right in the heart of Downtown Pensacola sits a stadium overlooking the bay. It is home to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, the local minor league baseball team. Attending baseball games during the season is one of our favorite things to do.
Fans pack the stands during the season to cheer on the home team and it's always a grand time. My kids joke around and say that they just like to go for the food and I can't really say that I blame them. There are a lot of delicious choices at the various concession stands but a hot dog and an ice-cold beer or soda always does the trick for me.
Games are themed throughout the week. Giveaways are typically done on Friday nights with items like hats, jerseys, and beach towels given out to the first guests in the park. Saturday night games end with a firework show and Sundays are considered family night, giving kids the chance to take the field and run the bases at the end of the game.
Game tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the stadium box office with lawn seats starting at just $10. Parking is plentiful in the downtown area, but the free parking tends to get snatched up quick so come early!
